SWAN ELLIOTT-BOWDEN
Swan has been in the model & talent profession for over 28 years, and started modeling at the age of 12. Swan's own career has taken her to such exotic places as Turkey, Chile, Panama, Switzerland, Germany, China, Japan, Mexico and many locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Focus International opened in 1990, winning Agency of the year in 1994 & runner up in 1995. The business moved to the Big Island of Hawaii in 1996 with it's great diversity of climate. The Island of Hawaii has 11 out of 13 of the worlds climate classifications, 24 out of 26 terrain classifications, the rainiest city in the U.S. (Hilo) and one of the driest/sunniest spots in the U.S. (Keahole pt., Kona). The island is so large that all of the other Hawaiian islands could fit on top of it. Kona is also known to have some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world. A wonderful location to provide clients any climate and background they require and also the best in models and talent.

SHANDA STEPHENSON MEDEIROS

Shanda has always created avenues for networking, and thus through a women’s network group she began in 2008, she met Swan Elliott-Bowden. She has a Bachelor of Fine arts degree and has spent the past twenty years primarily focused in residential design, mostly kitchens/bathrooms. Shanda has always been involved in the field of design, one way or another, and loves working with people. It seemed natural for Swan to invite her to be a scout for the Focus International Agency. Since Shanda has also begun work with the Focus International online magazine: Hawaii With Focus, www.hawaiiwithfocus.com.

Shanda became a Big Island resident in 2005, and has since been enjoying her life in the tropics. She has been thrilled with the quality of life and wonderful variety of people that she experiences on the Big Island. She was also quite relieved to find that life only slows down for you on the Big Island, if that is what you are seeking. However, someone like Shanda has found she may keep just as active as she wishes to be!
